Under this scheme, scholarships are offered to Indian nationals (nominations are sent to the International Council for Canadian Studies) under the Canadian Commonwealth Scholarship Plan
Age: There is no restriction with respect to the age of candidates but the candidates should have obtained their first Graduation/Master’s degree as per requirement within the fast five years.
Level: These scholarships are awarded for studies leading to master’s degree.

Language Proficiency: Candidates must have sufficient knowledge of one of the official languages of Canada-English or French,noth written and spoken , to follow a programme of studies in Canada. Candidates who expect to study in an English Speaking University and whose mother tongue is not English must demonstrate their ability undertaking the TOEFL test. The minimum acceptable scores vary from university to university in the range of 550-600 but may be higher, depending on the programme to be followed.
