India's coffee conglomerate Café Coffee Day, which recently announced a scholarship that amounts to a total of Rs five crore to 68 students.
CCD, having associated with the Foundation of Liberal And Management Education (FLAME), the collaboration will give out scholarships to students who wish to pursue courses in business, communication, liberal education and performing arts.
"Our attempt is to break the conventional confines that bind the students and prevent them from exploring what they really want to do in an environment of culture and value based education," explains Indira Parikh, former dean of IIMAhmedabad, and a founding president of FLAME.
