Kanchan Bahirat is a student of MTech (IITBombay) and a recipient of L'oreal India's 'For Young Women in Science' scholarship. Thanks to the financial support provided by the scholarship, Bahirat was able to complete her graduation. "This scholarship truly shaped my career and helped me complete my engineering," she says.
L'oreal India entered the ninth year of its annual scholarship that grants young women the opportunity to pursue a career of their interest in the scientific field. A scholarship of Rs 25 lakh is disbursed to 10 deserving young women over a period of four years, towards their education in any field of
science they may wish to pursue.
