Health Ministry Fellowship for Medical College faculty and Researcher

Applications, in the prescribed format, are invited by Department of Health Research, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, New Delhi from members of faculty/researchers working as regular employee in Medical Colleges/Research Institutions in India for award of fellowships under the following four categories.

I.   Long-term (6-12 mts) fellowship/training in foreign Institutes, in identified areas

Eligibility:
Only Indian citizens are eligible. The faculty employed on a permanent basis in recognized medical college/ research institution and having at least 3 years of teaching/ research experience. Age: not exceeding 45 years. Qualifications: MD/MS/ PhD. The application should be forwarded by the Employer/ Head of the Institution agreeing to the Terms and Conditions of the fellowship. The applicant should submit a concrete plan of proposed training and utilization plan of the training after availing the fellowship.

II.  Short -term (1-3 mts) orientation/trng in foreign Institutes, in identified areas

Eligibility:
Only Indian citizens are eligible. The faculty employed on a permanent basis in recognized medical college/ research institution and having at least 3 years of teaching/ research experience. Age: not exceeding 55 years. Qualifications: MD/MS/ PhD The application should be forwarded by the Employer/ Head of the Institution agreeing to the Terms and Conditions of the fellowship. The applicant should submit a concrete plan of proposed training and utilization plan of the training after availing the fellowship.

Candidates desiring a fellowship may send 15 copies (print) and a soft-copy of application in the prescribed format by 30th November 2012 to Dr. K.
