Scholarships are available through the Wollongong International Coursework Scholarships (WICS) scheme to students from India applying for admission to the specific degrees or following areas of study: Master of Science (Biotechnology or medicinal Chemistry), Master of Engineering Practice or Master of Engineering Management ,Master of Public Health or Master of Science (Population Health), Master of Business Administration (Advanced), Master of Science (Logistics). Any Masters coursework degree in the Faculty of Commerce, Master of International Relations or master of Social Change & Development, Any Masters coursework in the Faculty of Informatics, including, but not limited to the following: Any Bachelor degree          at       UOW:
Preference is given to a State Board diploma student in India gaining admission to a bachelor degree with advanced standing.
Eligibility: Students gaining admission to one of the above specified programs after completion of appropriate qualifications in India.
Value of Scholarship: More than 60 scholarships are available for students commencing a coursework degree. Coursework degree in this scheme includes variously Bachelor degrees and Masters by Coursework degrees. Each scholarship covers the tuition fee for one session of study in the specified UOW course. Subject to successful completion of the first session with an average mark of at least 65%.
Note:
1.Scholarships are restricted to students’ enrolling in a specified UOW course and/or students from particular overseas institutions as determined for each scholarship.
2. Before applying for a scholarship, one must apply for admission to the relevant course. Applicants must have an offer of admission to the relevant course in order to be considered for a scholarship.
 3. The main selection criterion in determining scholarship recipients is academic merit in previous studies. Other factors may, however, be taken into account, including additional information provided with the applications for a scholarship ad for admission. Where scholarships are available to students from particular overseas institutions, the University may identify additional selection criteria or procedures in consultation with the institution concerned.
