(1) Chukyo University scholarship: Eligibiltiy:Those who have studied at Chukyo for one year or more, are at least second year students at the time of application , and have excellent grades but face financial difficulty in going to school
Value:45,000 yen (undergraduate students) and 65000 yen (graduate students ) per month for a period of one year
selection: is made on the basis of interview
(2) Public scholarships by Japanese Student Service Organization
Eligibility: Full-time undergraduate or graduate who need financial assistance and who have excellent grades
Value:50,000 yen (undergraduate students ) and 70,000 yen (graduate students) per month for a period of one year. Selection is made by Japanese Student Service s Organization (JASSO)
(3) Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology “Japanese Government Scholarship Student”
Eligibility: Foreign students in the third year (under 26 years old) expected to advance to their senior year, who have excellent grades, but face financial difficulties in continuing school
Amount of scholarship: 139,200 a month for an undergraduate student for a period of one year.
Selection is made by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports ,Science and technology based on the university’s recommendation
(3) There are also scholarships from private organizations.

offers following Undergraduate, Graduate scholarships for study in all major fields
(a) Scholarships for Foreign Student to candidates of any nationality enrolled at overseas universities or colleges that have an agreement with Japanese universities. Candidates must be recommended by the home university for duration of 1 to 2 years.Value:200,000 yen per month, a round-trip air ticket and 500,000 yen for an outfit allowance. (b) Scholarships (20 for undergraduates and 20 for graduate students ) for foreign students staying in Japan and enrolled at a Japanese University for a duration of 1 year (from April to March of the following year); Possibility of renewal once under certain circumstances. Value: undergraduate students: 100,000 yen per month; graduate students: 120,000 yen per month.
