RESEARCH DEGREE SCHOLARSHIPS
The School of Education, University of Leeds is offering up to two scholarship awards worth the full value of the annual tuition fee rate for up to three years study plus a maintenance award of £5,000 for each year of the scholarship. Scholarships will be awarded entirely on the basis of the academic record and the strength of the doctoral research proposal. For full-time international students, awards will be given each year for up to three years of study. Awards for the second and the third year will be made subject to candidate’s progress
 Requirements: You may apply online for research degree study at www.leeds.ac.uk/ students/applyresearch.htm or a word version may be downloaded from this page. Students will be automatically considered for a School of Education
Scholarship if they are full-time international research student applicants and have not already been awarded another scholarship; have received an offer of a place for a full-time postgraduate doctoral research degree in the School of Education and met all the normal entry requirements. If English is not the first language, then candidates must also meet the university’s English language requirements.
    To apply: Should complete a separate scholarship request form or obtain one from the School of Education Admissions Office (www.education.leeds.ac.uk/prospective/scholarships.p hp). If the School of Education does not contact applicants by 1 May, then they may assume that they have not been awarded a Research Degree Scholarship.     Submission: March 31
