Minimum qualifications: B.Sc. or Diploma in Ceramics with 2 year professional experience in the field of ceramics in each case. B.Sc student must have Mathematics as one subject together with any one our of Physics, Chemistry and Geology. The examination consists to two parts: part 1&II and is held once every years. The candidates may appear in any number of subjects in a year. Proposed examination centers are Kolkata, Delhi, Bangalore, Gudur, Bhilai and Baroda. a set of study materials and a few recommended books are available on payment. The institute is also conducting a short term course on “Science of Ceramic Systems” at Kolkata during August for the benefit of the candidates.
