Offers:
Cambridge Commonwealth Trust Awards (in the form of scholarships and bursaries) to the students from Commonwealth countries who intend o study at Cambridge
The main purpose is to enable candidates of outstanding academic merit from around the world (excluding the United Kingdom) to pursue courses of study or research at the University of Cambridge. These awards are offered at graduate and undergraduate level. However, scholarships are normally attached to particular country, levels of study and, in some cases, to specific areas of study.
NOTE: The Trusts do not provide maintenance allowances for dependants.
Moreover, bursaries are available to students irrespective of their nationality. Applicants from countries where the trusts do not offer full-cost awards will normally be eligible for a part-cost bursary. The value of bursary will be a partial contribution only towards the costs of study at Cambridge and is determined according to the financial circumstances of each candidates
As a graduate student at Cambridge you will be expected to pay fees and provide finance to cover your living costs. In some cases students pay all their own costs, but many are supported by charitable foundations, research councils, or the University itself. All these awards are competitive, so there is no guarantee that you will win one. If you do, you will receive a scholarship or bursary covering a contribution to your maintenance, or a part-or full- cost award that pays some or all of your fees and living costs for the duration of your course.
