University Grants Commission has invited applications for the award of 1,000 PG Scholarships under the scheme of PG Scholarship for Professional Courses for SC & ST candidates for the year 2013-2014 to undertake postgraduate level studies in professional subjects like Engineering & Technology, Management, Pharmacy etc. on regular basis only.
Only those candidates who have been admitted in postgraduate professional subjects at recognised universities/colleges during the academic session 2013-14 are eligible to apply under the scheme.
Selection will be made on the basis of merit by the Expert Committee. The guidelines of the scheme, detailed terms and conditions of the Scholarship, eligibility etc. is available on www.ugc.ac.in
Applications in the prescribed format may be submitted only through on line mode latest by 16th January, 2014 (non extendable) by logging in website
