Programme: SPEED-IT Research Fellowship instituted by the Department of Information Technology, Kerela Government
The fellowship offers: Monthly fellowship of Rs 14,000 for the first year, Rs 15,000 for the second year and Rs 17,000 for the third year and an annual contingent grant of Rs 20,000.

Eligibility: Candidate must have a Master's degree in Engineering /Technology/ Science/ MCA/ MSc CS/IT in a relevant area with a minimum Cumulative Performance Index (CPI) of 6.5 or 60% of marks. Preference will be given to UGC- NET, University JRF, GATE scorers or similar PhD qualifying examinations.
Selection criteria: Researchers will be selected on the basis of research aptitude test, a presentation of their PhD research proposal, and personal interview conducted by IIITM-K of candidates who meet the standards prescribed by a University in Kerala. Those who have not qualified any of the examinations prescribed by University to register for PhD, should qualify the examination within one year, and then proceed for registration.
