 STANFORD-INDIA BIO DESIGN INTERNATIONAL FELLOWSHIP IN BIOMEDICAL TECHNOLOGY INNOVATION, Stanford University and the department of biotechnology, Ministry of Science & technology, Govty .of India,lanched the Stanford-India Biodesign (SIB), intensive two-year Fellowship at All India Institute of Medical Sciences , and the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi
Aim: The goal of the Fellowships is to train the nest generation of biomedical technology innovators in India.
 Eligibility: Indian citizens with significant work experience and /or graduate degree Iin Engineering, Medicine or Business will be considered. Candidates will be judged on their potential to become leaders in Biomedical Technology Innovation. Fellows Chosen for the programme must have a track record of
Early innovation which may include patents, inventive research projects, licensed products or start up company experience. University faculties are encouraged to apply.
 Support: Fellows will receive tuition; stiped support and International travel arrangements. Fellows are exp cted to remain in India at the completion of the programme.

 scholarships to students belonging to scheduled caste for education foreign countries: Government of Maharashtra, Social Justice and special Assistance department, directorate a of social Welfare Maharashtra state, 3 Church Road,Pune 411001 (Maha.) offers 25 Scholarship to students belonging to Scheduled castes to undertake studies abroad.
 Selection: Admission is made on the basis of All India Entrance Examination at Allahabad ,Bhopal,Calicut,Hamidpur,Jaipur,Jallandhar,Kurukshetra,Nagpur,Rourkela,Waranghal.
Eligibility: (i) Candidates should belong to Scheduled Caste Community
(ii) Be the permanent residents of Maharashtra
 (iii) Annual income of the parents of the student should not exceed Rs.2.50 lakhs.
 (iv) The scholarship is not applicable for Certificate Course
 (v) The scholarship is granted for continuing duration only, and there should be no gap
(vi) The student should exactly mention the exact period of study course
 (vii) Degree holders of the same subject is granted scholarship for post Graduate Courses. For equal Degree of Equal Post Graduate Courses scholarship is not granted
(viii) Minimum 60% marks at 12th standard Exam for Graduation Courses and minimum 55% marks at graduation level for Post Graduation Courses are required in the first attempt.
 (ix) The student should have passed XIIth Std. or Degree Examination with in the Scheduled limit (i.e. After XII B.Sc.- years, After B.Sc.MSc- 2 years)
 (x) The maximum age limit for the student is 35 years as on January
 (xi) The student must have obtained an admission for the first year in any recognized University on Foreign country
 (xii) The students who have taken admission for Medical Courses in Foreign Countries should be recognized by Indian Medical council. The students who have taken Degree/Post Graduate Degree of Medical foreign countries should pass necessary examination. He/she will pay /return the whole amount of sanctioned scholarship. For which necessary Indemnity Bond is compulsory.
 (xiv) For preparations of Merit List the marks of the Diploma Holders is equivalent to XIIth Std.
(xv) 8 Scholarships is granted for graduation Courses and 17 Scholarships is granted for Post Graduate Courses
 (xvi) After completion of the courses and joining service, the student shall voluntarily refund minimum 10% of the amount in five years which he has received in the form of scholarship, to the Social Justice Fund ,of Government of Maharashtra for which indemnity Bond should be given of Rs 100/- Stamp Paper
(xvi) The student should complete Degree/Post Graduate Degree study in the abroad within the stipulated period
